Meet Coach Irene
Irene Dorrough, Head Coach and owner of Over the Net and In, thrives on the court—whether she’s coaching, playing, or competing. She is passionate about working with people of all ages and abilities, helping them build the confidence to step onto the court and enjoy a game of Tennis, whether solo or with others.

Bringing laughter and smiles to every session, Irene’s love for the game began at a young age, watching her parents and siblings play social competitions around the Tweed Valley. Once she was big enough to hit the ball over the net, she eagerly joined in.
Pickleball entered Irene’s life just over three years ago, adding a fun and exciting element to her coaching repertoire. She’s always exploring new ways to train, play, and share her love of racquet sports with others.
